The Last Leg

My second Quarter has come to an end, and here we are.

The last three months have been groundbreaking, my lack of knowledge concerning the Bible was truly brought to light, and I’m so so excited to continue moving forward. I travelled alongside the prophets of the Old Testament, and dipped my toes into the New Testament with the first three gospels, Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

I could probably go through this part of the Bible 300 more times and still feel as if there was more to discover and learn. Things that we need to take to heart, a story that moulds who we are. There is too many prophets to touch base on but one things that I took away from all of them, is that this life we live is not our own. After having spent the first 5 months in a cycle of Israelites not listening to the Lord it was refreshing to come to the New Testament and to read about Jesus and his life. Though I’m not going to lie, I felt a bit underwhelmed. I expected this dramatic moment, instant and new revelations, but, well, Jesus was still Jesus. However, once we began diving into the text, there were a lot of difficult things that I had to deal with, my own mindset and theology that had to shift in order to align with what Jesus actually taught. Jesus was a very black and white man, but through it all he remained soft, and compassionate.

I’ve been humbled and I’ve grown. The Bible is truly life changing, and all I can do is give you little snippets of my own life to encourage you in order to let the Bible transform you too.

Rather short and sweet to keep you guessing.

I’m currently still in need of 750 CAD/ 580 USD in order to pay off my second quarter, and will be needing 3000 CAD/ 2300 USD for next quarter. I am asking for your support and prayer, anything is truly appreciated! I do not want my journey to end quite yet, there is still so much more to discover in the New Testament coming next quarter. Thank you for taking the time to read and taking interest in my life!
